Terms of Service
Plain-language terms. Last updated: September 18, 2026.
The service
Suzu is a local macOS voice companion for AI agents. This website provides information, documentation, and a waitlist for the launch.
Suzu runs locally on your Mac. It does not require an account to be used for free, and it never sends your voice or your code anywhere without your explicit action.
Accounts
An account only exists for trials and purchases. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in method (magic link inbox or OAuth provider) under your control.
Licences come with a seat limit (3 Macs per Suzu Local licence). Disconnecting a device frees the seat immediately.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service: no attempting to crack, resell, or redistribute the licensed parts of Suzu, no flooding the waitlist or the feature request board, no using the support channels to harass anyone.
Purchases and refunds
Purchases are handled by our payment provider (Paddle). Licence terms, VAT, and refund windows are shown at checkout and confirmed by email.
If a payment is refunded or charged back, the corresponding licence entitlement is deactivated server-side: the app silently returns to the free tier.
No warranty, liability
Suzu is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it reliable, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for indirect damages resulting from its use.
Changes
These terms may evolve as Suzu grows. Material changes will be announced on this page (and, for account holders, by email). Continued use after a change means you accept it.
